If you've ever wondered what happens when you send a group of talented filmmakers and adventurers armed with state of the art camera gear to Patagonia, you can stop wondering.
Exploring the Patagonian regions of Chile and Argentina, Joseph 'Dapp' Foster and crew (Andrew Sayre, Matt Stauble, Austin Lines, Mike Staron and Ervin Redlich Hvalibota) set about capturing their adventure with as much detail as possible. They carried all of their gear - which included 4K camera equipment - by hand, and the end result is the definition of mesmerising.
Patagonica represents the very essence of adventure. The five-man crew had to navigate no less than 13 border crossings and all the glaciers, ravines, mountains, fjords and ridges that the landscape could throw at them - all with gear in hand. And to make sure none of the spirit of the expedition was lost - Dapp began his editing whilst he was out there. That's dedication.
If you've ever thought about taking a trip to Patagonia, Patagonica might just tip you over the edge. Don't say we didn't warn you.
