Around 500 students from around the world are set to find out if they can complete the ultimate adventure: Red Bull Can You Make It 2016.

The challenge, now that they have chosen to accept it, begins this week, and involves racing from one of five starting points to Paris, hitting any six of more than 40 checkpoints in European cities using only cans of Red Bull as currency.

Wait, what?!

That’s right, the students are only allowed to use cans of Red Bull to pay for things. This means all plane and train tickets, all meals, and all hotel rooms can be purchased using only a can or four of Red Bull.

In 2014, more than 16,000 cans were traded by the teams and with more teams this year, you can expect more cans will be traded for many incredible experiences. Trades in 2014 included a hotel room, a five-star dinner and a plane ride across Austria.

It’s going to be an amazing week as teams travel around Europe and Red Bull TV is going to bring it straight into your lap with a daily show covering the event.

Watch the action unfold live by following #CANYOUMAKEIT16. There will also be live updates on Facebook and Twitter.

Check back here for highlights. It’s going to be one epic week.
