Love them or loathe them, there's no denying that Coldplay's video clip for their latest single, Up&Up, is all kinds of epic.
Directed by visionary filmmakers Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, the video shows various clips of the band towering over epic landscapes weaved inbetween surreal shots of ordinary scenes made less ordinary.
There's the Manta Ray flying behind the surfers; the elephants at risk of being vacuumed up; the giant cyclist riding through a warzone; the kids walking through a school of fish; the giant butterfly on an oil rig.
We're not sure if there's supposed to be any real meaning to the video or if it's just meant to look cool. But if there's one thing we can take from this little slice of creative genius, it's that you can find beauty and adventure in everyday things by simply shifting your perspective.
Oh, and if you're really not a Coldplay fan, you can always mute the video. It still does the job.
