This guy realised a harsh truth about adventures

The reality of many adventures is that you have to be happy in your own company. This guy knows.

Sometimes, even the most seasoned adventurers bite off more than they can chew. That certainly appears to be the case for Ben Page in his clip, The Frozen Road.

At the tail end of 2015, having finished up university and with nothing but empty days ahead of him, then 22-year-old Page decided he was going to attempt to cycle around the world.

Several months into his trip, the above clip finds him in the depths of Canada's frozen north and very, very alone. What's refreshing about this particular clip - and Page has so far produced a few from his journey - is that it's a very raw and real account of the hard times.

Clearly, the psychological reality of Page's trip, paired with being at the mercy of the elements, took a sizeable toll on the young explorer. The Frozen Road is a fascinating insight that tears away the happy-go-lucky veneer common in so many adventure films. We can't wait to see the finished thing.

We're not sure when Page is now, but we do know you can follow his journey over on his Facebook page.
