Sweden's Mattias Ekstroem's DTM weekend at the Red Bull Ring wasn't quite what he had hoped for, as he crashed out in the pit lane in qualifying and was forced to begin the race in last place. "I actually enjoy driving in difficult conditions because you can gain quite a bit in them," Ekstroem said. "But on the way to the pits you gain nothing. That was a bitter pill."
