Ryan Dungey increases his lead in the US Pro Motocross Championship Series after winning round four in Mt Morris, Pennsylvania.
Dungey's win at the High Point Raceway in Mt Morris, Pennsylvania, was the second 450 Motocross win in a row for the Red Bull-backed KTM Factory rider and it sees him stretch his championship lead to 42 points.
The Florida-based rider got off to a great start in the first race, slipping past Andrew Short on the second lap and then snapping at the heels of frontrunner Mike Alessi. Dungey eventually took the lead at the half-way mark and finished 20 seconds before his nearest rival.
Things got even better for Dungey in the second moto of the day. Alessi overtook him in the closing stages of the first lap, but Dungey was happy to play the waiting game and sat right behind Alessi until bursting through on the fifth lap. From there on in, Dungey built an unassailable lead that saw him finishing 22 seconds ahead of the second placed rider.
Dungey's KTM Factory team-mates Ken Roczen (Germany) and Marvin Musquin (France) had a good day, too, in the 250cc class, with Roczen taking third place on the podium and Musquin coming in fifth.
The next race in the US Pro Motorcross Championshipo Series takes place at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Maryland, on June 16.
