Last weekend was the 7th round of the Motostar British Championship at Brands Hatch GP.
After ending up 7th in qualifying I was confident that I could go quicker due to bike problems. In morning warm-up I went over a 1 second quicker than my qualifying time and ended up 2nd, so I couldn't wait to race.
In the race my start was OK and on the first lap I was 4th due to some crashes in front. I battled with my team-mate for a few laps and once I got through I tried hard to catch the riders in front but I could not bridge the gap. I kept consistent lap times and came across the finish line in 3rd place.
The last two tough rounds of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup has made me a faster and stronger rider so I cannot wait to get to Brno.
