With the US MotoGP in his rear-view and a valuable second-place added to his season tally, Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa is looking ahead to the Czech Grand Prix with great anticipation...
After getting a few days holiday, it was soon back to work for me as I began to prepare physically ahead of the big race in Brno. I had to pay particular attention to recovering from the injury I got earlier this year, as it is always more sensitive when the training is more intense.
'Brno is a track I like and I've had some good races here.'
Despite all the pain and preparation, I'm really looking forward to the weekend and to getting back to business with the team. Brno is a track I like and I've had some good races here, although I've not yet been able to get a win in MotoGP - hopefully that will change this weekend.
At this time of year, it is normally it is very hot but predicted heavy storms could very well change how the race pans out. On Thursday, we'll get the chance to try out the circuit and finalise our preperations for the race. The bike is working really well and I'm certain we'll be ready to tackle this GP.
Brno is a very different circuit from Laguna Seca, which was the last GP before the short summer break, I'm looking forward to seeing what it has in store for me.
