Spanish MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa is gearing up for one of his home races at Motorland in Aragon. Although he's confident of success this weekend, meticulous preparation remains vital...
¡Hola todos!
After a weekend without racing, it’s great to get back on the bike at a GP as special as the one at Motorland. We have the experience from last year which was made so spectacular by all the people who were with us in Aragon. This week has been a quiet one. I have maintained my usual regime to be in the best possible shape for this weekend.
As I’ve just said, the atmosphere we experienced in Aragon last year was incredible. As with all the home grand prix, even more people turn out than usual and that is really appreciated. Motorland is a spectacular track and the facilties are the most modern of all the circuits.
It’s a very technical course and because of that it’s very demanding. It is quite wide and there are a series of corners where the riders have to be at their very best. We will have to work hard with the team to get a good set-up so we can arrive at the race with confidence.
I am already looking forward to getting to the track on Thursday and beginning our preparations with the team. We have a great weekend ahead and hopefully things will turn out well. Thanks as always for the support and encouragement you give me with your comments. On Monday, I will tell you all how it went!
Un saludo,
Dani
