Dani Pedrosa has undergone successful surgery to his broken right collarbone and hopes to return at Mugello in less than two weeks. Hiroshi Aoyama from the San Carlo Honda Gresini Team will replace Pedrosa on the Factory RC212V at Assen this weekend. Hiroshi’s bike will be ridden by HRC test rider, Kousuke Akiyoshi.
Hello everyone,
A few days after the operation and I can tell you that I’m feeling so much better than before. I’m not feeling any more pain and feel like I’m getting better day by day.
I started rehabilitation yesterday and I’m feeling very motivated to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.
What makes me so excited is that I feel much better than I did before the operation, which is a real cause for optimism. I have an overwhelming desire to get back on the bike and that’s what I'm working for. My target is now Mugello.
Thank you for all your support and encouragement.
