BMX riders from around the world descended upon Barcelona, Spain, over the weekend for the Nike 6.0 BCN BMX Pro, and the action did not disappoint.
Barcelona is a hotbed of shreddable street spots, but Nike opted to bring Nate Wessel in to build a killer park course set-up right on the water that hosted some of the biggest tricks around.
Rain in Spain cut short Sunday’s finals soSaturday’s Prelim results were used tofinal standings for the event. Venezuelan Red Bull rider Daniel Dhers kicked off a busy contest season by bringing out a new downside tailwhip flair and a seatgrab no-footed can-can 360, landing in the number two spot behind Dennis Enarson.
Czech rider Michael Beran finished the day 8th overall but took top honours in the Best Trick category with a bikeflip to tailtap to tailwhip in. Italian Red Bull rider Alessandro Barbero also reached the finals, finishing 12th overall with a grip of 360 and tailwhip tricks.
