DC met up with the Red Bull-backed Russian Dakar-winning Kamaz truck team at Tushino Airfield earlier this week.
Under the controls of Vladimir Chagin, assisted by crewmates Sergey Savostin and Eduard Nikolaev, the Red Bull-backed Kamaz team drove to victory in the truck class in January’s Dakar Rally in Argentina and Chile.
Coulthard was there to meet the team, try out the truck's controls and see the All-Star Car Race Competition which has been hosted by Za Rulem, the oldest Russian sports magazine, since 1978.
This year 31 crews took part and Renault F1’s new boy, Vitaly Petrov drove the final demonstration race with David as his special guest.
