First fashion creation: A T-shirt that read ‘If you fall down get back up’.
Material of the moment: Silk organza.
Colour of the moment: Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-cherry (bomb).
Fashion trend for summer 2010:
For guys: trench coats worn with shorts (good for going to the movies by yourself) and derby shoes with no socks.
For girls: leather biker jackets over swimwear with roller skates.
NZ Fashion Week in three words: Like giving birth.
Best dressed NZers: Gabrielle Mirkin-Harwood, Emma Cruickshank-Gosling, Lily Montana-Griffiths. Basically anyone with a double-barrelled surname.
Fantasy celebrity client: Daria Werbowy, the supermodel.

First fashion creation: A frog-green two-piece for my mum when I was about 12.
Material of the moment: Linen, silk, New Zealand merino, possum.
Colours of the moment: Blacks and naturals.
Fashion trend for summer 2010: A refined mash-up of natural textural fibres and cultural garbs.
NZ Fashion Week in three words: Introduction of next.
Best dressed NZer: Chrissy O of Hunters and Collectors in Wellington.
Fantasy celebrity client: Fever Ray, aka Karin Dreijer Andersson.
