England's Andrew Flintoff brought down the curtain on his career as a Test match batsman with a swashbuckling 22 against Australia in the decisive final Ashes Test today.

After four quick boundaries, the Lancashire all-rounder was caught out while trying to hit Marcus North’s delivery out of the ground. England went on to declare at 373 for nine, with Jonathan Trott reaching 119 on his debut.

Flintoff’s final bow as a Test bowler will now see him try to dismiss the Aussies as they chase 546 to win.
