Spa in the sunshine is a challenge, Spa in the wet is one of the toughest challenges a racing driver can face. Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel is loving it.
'Racing in Spa in the rain is amazing. You really need to focus, especially on Eau Rouge which you normally take flat out.
But when it’s wet you have to take it in a totally different way and it takes a lot of concentration to get through it.
We weren't on top today, but it is always hard to predict exactly where we going to be on Friday.
The rain held us back a bit but the car felt great and perfectly balanced. Under the circumstances I think we did well.
We haven't had a rain race in a long time, but I guess we have to sit back and wait and see what the weather gods will bring us this weekend.
If the weather keeps changing like it is, Belgium could turn into a real lottery.
But when a track is as good as this one, it doesn’t matter whether it’s wet or dry, it’s always a pleasure to race here.
