The stars of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series touched down in Hawaii this week and were greeted by a very traditional island welcome.
Arriving on the island of Oahu, Orlando Duque and co. received an 'aloha' ahead of the Series decider this Sunday. It was then the turn of the divers to remind their hosts of another Hawaiian tradition, cliff diving!
Three Hula girls perched on cliffs near Oahu's Diamond Head performed a very special 'opening ceremony' as they danced the Hula, a ritual passed down from their Polynesian forefathers (and mothers).
Inspired, the divers tried their hands at a couple of other sports famous in Hawaii before getting back to doing what they do best – diving!

Our cliff diving island hoppers left Oahu behind on Thursday and made the short flight to Hawaii's 'Big Island' ahead of the final stop in the 2010 World Series.
Kawainui Falls in Hilo will be the spot where the World Series winner is crowned, with British athlete Gary Hunt all set to usurp reigning champion Duque.
