New Zealand-born Enduro champ Chris Birch relocated to South Africa after having his appetite for the country whetted following back-to-back victories in the Roof Of Africa race in 2009 and 2010. Usually a warm and sunny place to live, we doubt the Red Bull KTM Factory rider expected huge snowfall to hit his new home in the middle of August.
A man who is well used to succeeding in a variety of environments – he won Red Bull Romaniacs in 2010 and came second in Red Bull City Scramble in Auckland – he isn’t the kind of rider to let such a unique opportunity pass him by.
As such, he donned helmet cam and got on his bike to record what he likes to do on his days off…
