Jean-Eric Vergne dominated Hockenheim as the Formula 3 star resumed his position at the top of the International Series leaderboard.
Two victories in as many days in Germany this past weekend made up for the disappointment the Frenchman felt on his home turf at Magny-Cours a week ago when he unexpectedly handed the initiative in the title race to Brit Oli Webb.
Vergne raced a flawless lights to flag victory, securing the win for his Carlin team by a massive 21.5 seconds to take him 34 points clear of Webb in the standings.

"It was like a 40-minute qualifying session for me," Vergne said. "I was just pushing hard and I was just focusing on the race lap by lap. The car was just amazing. It was a really nice race for me.
"I have to say a big thanks to the team, because after Magny Cours I was feeling really bad, really upset and angry.”
Fortec's Oli Webb had led the championship after twice beating Vergne to victory in France but finished outside the points this time due to a drive-through penalty which left him 11th.
