Whitewater kayaker Jana Dukatova won the first World Cup race in her career this weekend in Augsburg - and it brought her the overall victory of this years World Cup series.

Although there will be one more race part of the World Cup ranking - the Panamerican championship in Canada (1.-2.8.) - Jana leads the whole series and can't be overtaken anymore.

World Championship'09 is taking place in Seu d'Urgell (Spain) this September and this great success encouraged Jana to fight for another medal over there...so cross our fingers for her to make it!
