The Red Bull Thre3Style USA regional finals came to a close on the 10th of June with DJ Mahf taking the title as top party rocker in St. Louis. He will join 14 other winning participants from around the States who will compete at the Red Bull Thre3Style USA final on the 7th of October in Denver, what will surely be one of the most exciting events on America's music calendar.

According to Gary Richards, aka Destructo, organizer for one the U.S.A's most spectacular regular events, HARDFEST and judge for the Red Bull Thre3Style Houston finals, "Red Bull really gets how to do music right."

"The event exceeded our expectations...fun concept, great looking crowd and surprising bar sales" comments Rob Ciancimino, manager of one of the hottest nightclubs in Hollywood, the Playhouse, where the LA finals took place.

“I’ve competed in several DJ battles and this show was different than anything I’ve ever been a part of,” said Red Bull Thre3Style Houston winner DJ Baby Jae. “Red Bull created something totally new that really celebrates who can rock the party.”

“I came here not quite knowing what to expect and it blew me away,” agrees crowd member Chris Kajander. “This is exactly the type of party Houston needs.”

Having originated in Canada several years back, the first set of Red Bull Thre3Style events kicked off early in the year with heated DJ battles going down around the country. From Vancouver to Winnipeg, Canada's top party-rockers slugged it out, mixing up styles and beats with every inch of creative muscle to win the hearts and feet of the crowd. Like the U.S.A., Japan has also completed all its regional competitions with the final looming in August. And things have just begun. The UK, Switzerland, Spain, France, Brazil and Columbia are all gearing up for their own Red Bull Thre3Style national events in the coming months. The international final in Paris at the end of the year is sure to set a new standard in DJ competitions around the world.
