Skier Paddy Graham and his crew of professional European freeskiers cum reckless film-makers, Legs of Steel, have picked up two awards for their film Nothing Else Matters at the 12th annual Powder Awards in Aspen, Colorado.

A panel of judges comprised of Powder magazine writers and experts from the world of skiing watched an endless reel of films before shortlisting the nominees in each of the categories.

It was a strong year for ski films, with hundreds of impressive clips and tricks to choose from, but Legs of Steel's Nothing Else Matters beat them all to take the Best Powder award for having the most well-rounded segment.

The four-strong Legs of Steel crew, made up of Paddy, Bene Mayr, Tobi Reindl and Thomas Hlawitschka (plus Canadian cinematographer Andre Nutini), also picked up the gong for Best Manmade Air. All but two of the awards (Best Powder and Movie of the Year) are reserved for individuals but Powder magazine had to make an exception in this year's Best Manmade Air category.

Legs of Steel's winning clip features 13 different skiers hitting three seperate jumps at the same time. Shot from above in a helicopter, the timing and the precision of this synchronised stunt left the judging panel amazed.

And this is the award-winning film…

Paddy and the rest of the Legs of Steel team won't be resting on their laurels in 2012, either. Expect even bigger and better stunts in the year to come.
