Relaxation is an important part of any athlete’s life... particularly when you’re about to take on the gruelling Gumball 3000!
Jon Olsson took time out with his friend and fellow skier, Petter Northug, as he prepared for the first leg of the road rally which begins this weekend.
Olsson lives in Monaco so the Swede was only too happy to climb aboard one of the luxury yachts moored in the nearby harbour.
"Both me and Petter agreed that a boat would not be a bad thing to have!" he said.
"I thought we were going to grab a few shots on a Riva parked in the harbour, not models and high-speed rides all day long."
Perfect preparation for the slightly more arduous task of a 3,000-mile rally!
The race which starts in London on Saturday goes via Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Stockholm before taking a plane over to Canada.
The drivers then continue to Quebec City and Toronto before finally arriving in New York.
