DID SOMEONE MENTION TICKETS?
Red Bull Crashed Ice is free and open to the public. However, the Crash Zone gives access to a premier viewing area. Inside the Crash Zone, there will be food and beverage concessions, a DJ and a clear view of a jumbotron with a live feed of the whole Red Bull Crashed Ice race. Tickets cost $10 on Saturday (it's free on Friday) and can be purchased at the entrance gates. *YOU MUST BE 21 AND OVER TO ENTER **12 & UNDERS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PARENTS

WHEN DOES THE RACE START?
Each event in the Ice Cross Downhill World Championship is typically held over a three-day period. In the National and International Shoot Outs, each athlete completes two timed runs and the fastest time counts. The top 32 athletes from the National Shoot Out and the athletes ranked 33rd to 64th in the International Shoot Out advance to the Elimination Round. The top 32 athletes from the International Shoot Out advance directly to Saturday's finals.

Thursday: 1/24
9am – 10.30am: Mayor Run
Saint Paul’s Mayor, Chris Coleman, takes a run down a portion of the track for the second year in a row and will be joined on the ice by Father Gjengdahl of the Arch Diocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis!
2:00pm – 3:30pm: National Shoot Out
All 100 US athletes get two runs but only the top 32 will move on to the Elimination Round on Friday evening.

Friday: 1/25
12:30pm – 1:30pm: International Shoot Out
All 100 International athletes get two runs and the pool is narrowed down to 64. The top 32 athletes move onto the finals on Saturday while the remaining 32 compete against the top US skaters in the Elimination Round.
3:00pm – 4:00pm: Elimination Round
The 64 qualified US and International athletes will be narrowed down to 32.
7:00pm – 8:30pm: Team Competition
Brand new this year, and featuring a head-to-head knockout format, the Team Challenge is a chance for athletes to compete in teams of three.

Saturday: 1/26
5:00pm: Gates Open To General Public
6:30pm – 9:00pm: Red Bull Crashed Ice finals
9:00pm – 2:00am: Red Bull Crashed Ice Official After Party

WHERE SHOULD YOU STAND?
Although none of the viewing areas capture the entire track, there will be four large screens projecting the races from every angle. From the starting point, you can see everything up until the bridge. In the middle of the track, you can see the middle portions of the track. Near the bottom of the track, you can see from the middle portion and down. Each portion of the track encompasses its own excitement, choose wisely!

WILL THERE BE PARKING?
There is no available public parking on site at Red Bull Crashed Ice. There is parking available at one of the many free shuttle locations. There are shuttle buses running throughout the Minnesota State Capital Complex. Parking at the Minnesota State parking lots in this area are free on Saturday, January 26. Shuttles will stop at 12th and St. Peter St, at Cedar Ave and Columbus Ave and at the Sears parking lot. It is $15 to park at the Sears parking lot. The main shuttle drop-off and pick-up location is on John Ireland Blvd, North of Kellogg Blvd. The Minnesota History Center is also selling parking for $20.

WILL THERE BE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
Yes, the city buses will be running, with detours for portions of routes that intersect the event footprint. Visit metrotransit.org for all metro transit details. There will also be shuttles running from various locations in the Saint Paul area. Get more information at redbullcrashedice/shuttles.

WHERE ARE THE MAIN ENTRANCES TO RED BULL CRASHED ICE?
The main entrances to Red Bull Crashed Ice are located at John Ireland Blvd & Kellogg Blvd, Mulberry Street & Kellogg Blvd, Selby Ave & Summit Ave.

WANT TO GET IN FROM THE COLD WEATHER AT THE CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL?
Various venues will be given access to show the main event on Saturday night. The list reaches as far as Wisconsin and includes Alary's, Billy's on Grand, Buster's, Mankato, Champp's-STP, Cowboy Jack's Plymouth, O'Gara's, Prime Bar, Rounder's, Shamrock's, Tavern on the Avenue, Tiffany's, Two Stooge's, Wild Tymes, Fabulous Ferns, Tavern on Grand, Zorbaz Detroit, Zorbaz Spicer, Zorbaz Gull Lake, and Zorbaz Grand Rapidz.

CAN I BRING CHAIRS OR UMBRELLAS?
Outside chairs and umbrellas cannot be brought into Red Bull Crashed Ice.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR BEVERAGE?
Outside food and beverage cannot be brought into Red Bull Crashed Ice. Food and concessions will be sold and may be purchased in the Crash Zone, in the field across the street from the Cathedral and at the Finish Corral at the bottom of the course.

WHEN DOES THE RED BULL CRASHED ICE COMPETITION END?
The Red Bull Crashed Ice team competition on Friday night will end at 9:30pm and the finals on Saturday night will end at 9:30pm.

DOES THE FUN HAVE TO STOP AFTER THE COMPETITION?
No way! Feel free to join us for the Red Bull Crashed Ice Official After Party at Myth (3090 Southlawn Drive, Maplewood, MN 55109) which will take place from 9:00pm-2:00am and features performances by Lil’ Jon, Rick Rude and Get Cryphy

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
As Red Bull Crashed Ice is an outdoor competition, please dress appropriately for the winter weather.
