For five days the Facebook community and Red Bull District Ride fans were able to vote for their favourite rider to become one of the official forerunners for Red Bull District Ride.
One forerunner was already confirmed: local athlete Tobi Wrobel will get the chance to represent his home town in front of the huge crowd. However, the lucky rider who convinced Facebook fans of his skills collected over 2,000 likes and will have the opportunity to show what he’s made of in front of masses of cheering spectators is called… (drum roll): Anton Thelander! Along with local talent Wrobel, the Swedish rider will be invited to Nuremberg where he'll enjoy the star treatment usually reserved for the absolute freeride elite. Anton’s mentor, fellow countryman and Red Bull District Ride starter Martin Söderstrom is sure to keep an eye on the talent. Congratulations and have fun, guys!
