The World Series by Renault starts in Aragon, with Williamson, Albon, Kvyat and Wackerbauer. This weekend, May 5th & 6th at Motorland Aragon in Spain
No less than four Red Bull Juniors will get the new World Series by Renault season under way this weekend at Motorland Aragon. Lewis Williamson, the 22 year old Scot, will compete in the first two races of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. A further three Red Bulls are on the starting grid for the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0: English 16 year old Alex Albon, Russian 18 year old Daniil Kvyat as well as 16 year old German Stefan Wackerbauer.

Williamson has already competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series twice last year, as a replacement driver for Daniel Ricciardo. For remainder of the season the young Scot drove in the GP3 Series, in which he finished 7th overall.
Williamson (Team Arden) gradually closed in on the best drivers during pre season testing this year and now has high hopes for the 2012 season.

The three Red Bulls in Formula Renault 2.0 have already been able to gain initial racing experience in the 2012 season, at the first race weekend of the Formula Renault Alps Series in Monza.
There Kvyat emphasised his status as pre-season favourite in both championships – Alps and Eurocup. The Russian won both races at the opener in Italy.
