Lewis Williamson missed out on points in Monaco. Formula Renault 3.5 Series, Race 3.
The Scottish Red Bull Junior driving for Arden struggled with set-up problems throughout the weekend and finished 13th.
At the highlight of the Renault 3.5 season in Monte Carlo the Scot did not stand a chance to keep pace with the times of the fastest drivers in free practice or qualifying.
Williamson therefore started from the 12th row and did very well to improve by 10 positions over the course of the race.
Williamson: "First I had gearbox issues in free practice, then we dropped way back in qualifying on the second set of tyres, the more I pushed, the more time I lost. And in the race I primarily wanted to learn, reel off the miles and make as much progress as possible."
Great Britain's Sam Bird was the winner of the race, followed by Jules Bianchi (FRA) and Alexander Rossi (USA), Williamson's team-mate.
