Sebastian Vettel ended the final practice session for tomorrow's European Grand Prix in fine fettle. He was almost half a second clear of the field, with his Red Bull Racing team-mate Mark Webber fourth fastest. It was a great start to a weekend in which the German driver will be hoping to climb back to the top of the podium after finishing second in a rain-sodden Canada...

¡Buenos tardes amigos!

Well, as soon as Friday starts, it's over again! We had a really good first practice today in Valencia – but as always, you shouldn't read too much into the day's results. After all, this is the day when we try a lot of different things to see how the car performs on the track.

We were faster with the soft tyres and we'll continue to work out our tyre strategies tonight (Friday) when we all sit together to study the day's times.

'I can't really say who's on top right now, but I guess you're never wrong betting on red, silver or, of course, blue'

Looking back at last year's result, I can already tell that all the teams will be pretty close this weekend. I can't really say who's on top right now, but I guess you're never wrong betting on red, silver or, of course, blue.

One thing is for sure – it won't be easy. You have to stay focussed at all times, it's the only way to make it through the 25 different turns. For tomorrow, we have one simple goal: to get the most from today's performance and be on top at the end of qualifying.

Wish me luck and hasta luego!

Sebastian
