The white cross on a red background next to Sébastien Buemi’s name on his STR6 bears testimony to the Toro Rosso man’s Swiss nationality, but he is currently a Monegasque resident.
That makes this event his home race and it’s always likely to be that way as motor racing, with the exception of time trials, has been banned in Switzerland since 1955. To honour the occasion, Seébastien has had a special helmet livery designed for this weekend, featuring a beautiful roulette wheel, symbol of Monaco’s famous Casino.
