As far as racetracks go, Seb’s very own mini circuit in the centre of Berlin takes some beating.

Our World Champion delighted a huge crowd of F1 fans and well-wishers as he drove the Showcar around a temporary circuit which took in June 17th Street and the iconic Brandenburg Gate.

While Seb was delighted to give his fellow countrymen a performance to remember, he was also keen to leave a little souvenir of his day out in Berlin - courtesy of his F1 car’s tyres.

Sebastian said: “It was a dream come true for me today and it was great that so many people were here, even in the cold weather. It’s something very special to drive in front of the Brandenburg Gate and to leave a signature of rubber written by my slicks! You don’t get such a chance very often in life – it was a great day.”

After the Showcar run, Sebastian took the slightly slower Red Bull tour bus on a drivers' parade along Yitzhak-Rabin Street.

Vettel’s weekend continues on Sunday with the Race of Champions when he teams up with compatriot Michael Schumacher at the Düsseldorf arena to defend their Race of Nations title.
