Meet 14-year-old Giorgia Gregorio – one of the youngest and most exciting athletes currently laying claim to the world's waterways!
Giorgia's passion started at just five years old, when, following in her father’s wake, she went into the water for the first time with a pair of skis. After a few more lessons, she tried a wakeboard and immediately fell in love with the sport.
Her technique honed and her repertoire of tricks having become ever more extensive (her favourite trick of all, though not the most difficult, remains the front roll), Giorgia's is a name you will soon hear a lot of.
The last two seasons have seen the young star's reputation grow still further having won the Italian, European and World championships.
We're certain that you're going to be hearing a lot more about Giorgia in the coming years; in the meantime here's a few images from a recent shoot on Lake Como, in her home country of Italy, that offer a glimpse of a very exciting talent.
