Hannes Arch (c) Red Bull Photofiles

We caught up with Hannes Arch on the phone, immediately after he'd finished the 61st interview of his career with a local radio station about the legalisation of sliced bread.

Thanks for your time, Hannes. Now, we’ve got just under one minute for this interview. So, what’s so good about Trendspy?
Trendspy? Let me Google it and I’ll get back to you.

What are the three most interesting things in your wallet?
There are only two – my ID and my driving licence. If you need more, then there's a picture – it’s on my ID and driving licence.

What’s the first thing you do in the morning and last thing at night?
Dream.

What kinds of products would you like to see tested in future Trendspy shows?
The fastest.

Which Red Bull athletes would you like to have round for dinner?
The young female ones.

In your wildest dreams, what would you spend
7 on?
I can’t tell you what I would do with those seven coins in my wildest dreams.

Which awards do you think Trendspy will win at this year's Oscars?
Approximately none.

Which do you prefer – the water funsports or those on dry land?
Dry land, unless you bring the water funsport stuff to my place in Hawaii.

Who would make the best Red Bull athlete – Verne Troyer from the Austin Powers movies, or Donald Trump?
I thought you asked for athletes!

Would you rather bungee jump off a 20ft high bridge in Milton Keynes dressed as Spider-Man, or have a nice cup of tea?
Cup of tea. Bungee jumping is not cool, it’s old-style adrenaline stuff and has no content or quality. It’s doesn’t even come close to reaching the level of something classic like drinking a cup of tea.
.
What do you think of the rumours going round that say you have wooden feet?
That’s a lie and a stupid question, so stupid.

Glad to hear it’s not true. Now, which other Red Bull athletes would you like to see on future editions of Trendspy?
Women.

If you had to fight one, would you choose to fight a baboon or a walrus?
Doesn’t matter if you’ve got the right equipment.

Using the Trendspy test criterion, award yourself marks out of 20 and explain why:

Tune-up factor – how fit and healthy are you?

I’m actually not as fit as I should be at the moment but I’m healthy. 14

Red hot factor – how attractive are you to the opposite sex?
Very. At least, that’s what they keep telling me. No matter if it’s a lie or not, it feels good, right? 18

Economic factor – how rich/poor are you?

17. I’m sometimes very cheap, sometimes very rich, but never poor.

Nature factor – are you environmentally friendly?

10. I’m at one with nature, but not as environmentally friendly as I should be in my daily life.

Development factor – how bright is your future?

I’ll continue to with my passion for flying, combined with art and my personal lifestyle. Also, lots of climbing and time for travelling. 20

Because we’ve only got 10 seconds left and this question will have taken eight seconds to say by the time I get to the end of it, could you please describe yourself in one sentence that takes no more than two seconds to say.
Aloha.
