Marc Márquez was blogging bright and early today, and with the weekend he’s just had, it’s no wonder he couldn’t wait to share his thoughts with his fans.
Good morning!
Today, I’m writing to you early. We're back home and it’s job done, because these three grands prix away from Europe could not have been better. We couldn’t have imagined a better situation, really, because these three victories take us on to the Portuguese Grand Prix at Estoril in a good position.
But that doesn’t mean that the mindset we carry to Portugal, and beyond, has to change. We still have to work to fight for victory and we must be vigilant, because we might encounter very changeable weather conditions again and will have to be prepared.
'We proved we’re able to go fast in every set of conditions that have occurred this season'
Changeable was what we found at Phillip Island, so we must be very happy because, as you saw, we proved we’re able to go fast in every set of conditions that have occurred this season: dry, wet, windy…
Even in the race, we started without it being totally clear whether the set-up would be quite right, because we didn’t have much time to practise in the same conditions. But everything went well. I've come out first and hope I’ve opened a gap between myself and Nico Terol that will prove crucial in the championship.
There is still much work to do, there are two races that will be key, so we have to stay focused…
Greetings to everyone!
