The big news this week comes with the announcement of The Libertines (that's them pictured!) reforming to play the Reading & Leeds Festivals during August 27-29. After ending literally weeks of speculation, the two main characters Pete Doherty and Carl Barat confirmed the reunion at the announcement of the festival. The band, who originally split in 2005 after two albums and a handful of singles, will play before the headliners Arcade Fire on the main stage. The band originally came up with The Bowlie Weekender in 1999, which morphed into All Tomorrows Parties, which has since become a worldwide concern. The Cribs, Foals and Mumford & Sons are among the latest names to be added to the line-up for this year's Benicassim festival.
