In golf, Dustin Johnson made a hole-in-one at the 16th at the British Open Championship yesterday, but said he was ‘not very excited at all’ by the feat.
In fairness to Dustin, he was feeling ill, and finishing the round at Royal St George’s with Par was a bonus. “I’m going to go home and sleep. I’m not feeling all that well,” he added. “I’m a little bit under the weather.”
Early on day two, Tom Watson has also made a hole-in-one, meaning we’ve now witnessed the 22nd and 23rd occurrence of such an achievement in the last 30 years of the Open.
At the recent Red Bull Capital Drive in Washington DC, Dustin’s fellow American Rickie Fowler also hit a superb ace, which you can enjoy again below. Rickie made a solid start to his Open challenge, and begins today’s second round at Sandwich also at Par.
