Marc Márquez closed in on Moto2 championship leader Stefan Bradl with an excellent win at his home Grand Prix at Aragon, Spain at the weekend. Read Marc's thoughts in his latest blog.
¡Hola todos!
I always say that all victories are important, they all make me proud, but this weekend was even more special. I am very happy with the fact that we've taken the Grand Prix of Aragon. Things have been going great and the team deserved it for all the work they have done.
The truth is that from the start I found myself very comfortable on the track and that was very important to quickly find the set-up of the bike. The work that we did in Valencia gave us one more plus in this race and it was very important to get the win.
The race was hotly contested yesterday. The challengers have shown they are very strong and this was the case from the beginning to the end of the GP. Getting the win at the Motorland race that was so hard fought makes it even better.
'We must not lose our concentration or lower our performance'
We cannot lose concentration by looking at the world championship classification calculations facing us. We must be consistent and work hard until the end. There are four races in which anything can happen, so we must not lose our concentration or lower our performance. We enjoyed the victory this weekend, but without losing sight of the Japanese Grand Prix, for which we get to work immediately.
In addition to the team, I want to dedicate this victory to all the people who have been and are supporting me every day. To all the people of my fan club and each and every one of those that support me at the track and at home. This victory is also yours. Thanks!
¡Saludos a todos!
Marc
