Brazilian football star Neymar has been boosted by the news that he's been shortlisted for the prestigious FIFA Puskas Award, which goes to the scorer of the best goal of the year.
The highly rated Santos forward, who has been the subject of regular speculation about a big money transfer to the English Premier League has been nominated for the award thanks to his wonderful individual strike against rivals Flamengo.
The 19-year-old is up against some tough oppostion for the Puskas Award though, as world stars of the stature of Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are also shortlisted for the award, which will be decided by a public vote.
