Brazilian soccer star, Neymar, visited Salzburg’s Hangar-7 and the racing track Spielberg in Styria. Here is a selection of impressions from this secret visit...
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior is currently making headlines across the world as the new Robinho or Pelé. Yet, all the 19-year old Brazilian wants to be is the good old Neymar.
“I am here to have fun!” announced Neymar as he landed in Salzburg, Austria on August 11, where he was welcomed by Red Bull Salzburg chief coach Ricardo Moniz.
After visiting the Flying Bulls’ aeroplane fleet at Hangar-7 and digging into a delicious barbecue, the promising FC Santos forward travelled on to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, where he tested the KTM X-Bow under the guidance of Bernhard Auinger.
Considering that Neymar has been a holder of his driving licence for only a couple of weeks, he said with an impish grin: “I’m used to driving much, much slower.”
After a couple of rounds, Neymar flew back to Paris to meet with his team mates and travelled back to Brazil. He did not comment on any speculation about a possible transfer, he just came to have fun.
