Carlos Sainz Jr is pictured at the F3 Macau Grand Prix where the 2011 Formula Renault 2.0 NEC champion had an accident in his Dallar-VW but was fortunately not badly hurt. “It was the heaviest shunt in my career. I was just in the process of overtaking two drivers on the long straight as a collision occurred immediately ahead of me,” said Carlos on the Red Bull Junior Team Facebook page, “and I drove straight into it without so much as even touching the brakes, at 270kph – I had no chance to react. I feel a bit of pain in my back and my right foot, but other than that I’m all right."

Once the less conventional vehicles took to the streets of Chile’s capital city, it was Llegó el Lechero (roughly translated from Spanish as ‘Out came the Milk’) who won the soapbox derby, and with it a VIP invitation to Red Bull’s Dakar Rally after-party in January.
