This week The Nikon Surf Photo of the Year was awarded to Ray Collins for above displayed photo of Mark Mathews in a ton heavy roller and two more stunners that also assured him ranks two and three.
The prestigious award celebrates the ‘best of the best’ in the Australian surfing photography industry every year. Previous winners have included Jon Frank, Peter ‘Joli’ Wilson, Stuart Gibson and Jeremy Wilmotte, whose images are published and recognised around the world.
