Join us as we take a look at some of the best photos taken during the Winter X Games 16 in Aspen, Colorado...

The Winter X Games ended its 16th edition last weekend, with more than 200 of the best athletes from the world of freeskiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling taking part. Tens of thousands of people watched from the slopes of Buttermilk Mountain above the Colorado resort of Aspen and millions more tuned into the live coverage, witnessing thrills and spills as the competitors gave their all and then some. Sorely missed was skier Sarah Burke, who passed away on January 19th after a tragic training accid.
