- About
- Wax heads get ready! The 2012 ASP World Tour is on its way! First stop is the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. As ever the Tour gets underway with the world’s best male and female surfers competing in the Quiksilver Pro and the Roxy Pro, this year kicking-off on February 25th. One of the world’s longest and most consistent point breaks, Snapper Rocks is a surfer’s paradise. Red Bull’s own two-time world champion Mick Fanning is among the favourites but he will face stiff competition from the winner of last year’s Quiksilver Pro and 11 time ASP World Tour champion, Kelly Slater. Competition is fierce and only the best in the world will be on display, plus there's the small matter of a $40,000 prize purse up for grabs.
