- About
- The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series makes it first ever stop in Mexico this June, with the destination Cenote Ik Kil in Yucatán. The Cenote, or well, is a natural formation which has assumed an almost mystical dimension. The cenote was attributed sacred powers by the Maya civilisation and, at 60m wide with water 39m deep, it is certainly awe-inspiring. If the venue itself was not grand enough, Cenote Ik Kil is also located just 10 minutes from Chichen Itza – a UNESCO World Heritage site and a place recently listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World!
