About: Fresh from his victory in the final F1 race of the season, the Brazilian Grand Prix, Mark Webber is ready for his next challenge of 2011, the Swisse Mark Webber Tasmania Challenge, a super tough adventure race through the wilds of Tasmania. Over the course of five days, Mark will lead elite athletes, high-profile personalities and amateur adventurers through the wild island state from the Freycinet Peninsula to the finish back in the state's capital of Hobart on Sunday, December 11. The Challenge is back after a three-year hiatus returning to its original location of Tasmaniaâs breathtaking scenery. The Swisse Mark Webber Tasmania Challenge is a multi-discipline event taking in over 350km of terrain across some of Tasmania's most scenic locations. Competitors will mountain bike, kayak and trek through the ever-changing and challenging terrain, taking the athletes outside their comfort zone. Australian V8 star Rick Kelly and South African extreme runner Ryan Sandes are among the athletes taking part as the Challenge continues to raise funds for the Mark Webber Challenge Foundation, in support of selected Australian charities.
