About: The Auf Der Wacht track is a permanent Motocross circuit located near Galidorf in Germany. It's owned and run by the Gaildorf Motorsport Club, and used for both national and international Motocross events. Formed in 1926 the club has been hosting events events since, with the first race meeting taking place in 1964. In 2011 they will once again be hosting a round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, which takes place on 4th September and will be the penultimate encounter of the season before it concludes in Fermo. It will be one of two German races to host a round of the World Championship in 2011, with Teutschenthal also holding the Grand Prix of Germany in early July. As such, Galidorf will run under the name of the Grand Prix of Europe. It’s been added to the calendar for several reasons, one of the main ones being a huge surge in popularity of the sport in Germany, thanks to Ken Roczen.
