There has been no let up this year as we steam into the business end of the season.

A small city, Uddevalla has around 30,500 inhabitants and one of its main claims to fame, and what a claim it is, is that its beaches are filled with seashells, meaning it has one of the largest shellbanks in the world.

Uddevalla is a port on the west coast of Sweden, once an important herring fishing port, then a ship building town, now one of Sweden’s biggest bulk cargo handling facilities. The motocross track is based at the kart track complex and is noteworthy for the rock face that overlooks the circuit. Regularly climbed by the locals, it makes the most unique grandstand in the series. The circuit itself is one of the shorter on the schedule and made technical by the circuit preparation, whereby truckloads of sand is laid over a hardpack base.
