The Swedish ski resort of Are hosts the third stop of the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship 2012 as ice cross downhill's biggest competition goes back to where it all began in 2001 (well, almost). Stockholm was the venue for the first ever Red Bull Crashed Ice. The race was won by a Swede too - the ice cross downhill legend Jasper Felder who went on to dominate the sport during the first half of the noughties.
