About
When it comes to any form of athletics, the best performer always wins. With motorsport that isn't always the case, with so much relying on the technology of the vehicle you drive. That’s where the Race Of Champions comes in, solving the debates once and for all. This annual event brings together the world’s finest drivers from all the disciplines of competition and sets them free to battle, head-to-head, on the same track.
It’s a knockout tournament so mistakes prove terminal – and the drivers have to prove themselves in a variety of vehicles. But there’s no blaming the machinery because everyone gets the same kit. Put simply, the best driver will win.
The competition, now in its 24th year, brings together the world’s greatest drivers from the most prestigious disciplines. Unlike other events that dust down the odd celebrity, this is a veritable feast of all-time greats.
The Race will take place on a specially constructed tarmac track with two parallel lanes winding their way round the 50,000 capacity ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf with it's red-hot atmosphere. With enough superstars to blow your motorsport mind, this is one event that should not be missed.
