- Andreas Spak and Will Gadd discuss tactics on the first ascent of "Fun Fossen", Eidfjord, Norway. ‘We took a small boat over to do the first ascent of this climb, which would take weeks to approach by land. Norway's terrain is like a brain – incredibly folded and convoluted with the fjords cutting the coastline into inaccessible pieces. The climbing was beautiful and intricate, but I was happiest when I saw the boat pull back up – we for sure didn't have enough food to hike back out, and I didn't really know the guy driving the boat at all. It struck me afterwards that we took a bigger gamble on the boat than the climb. Any how, a nice adventure.’
