- Gregor Schlierenzauer bursts back onto the top step of the podium with two astonishing jumps on the world’s highest ski jumping hill in Vikersund, Norway. The Olympian won with jumps of 227 m and 237.5 m to score a total of 487.5 points. Also celebrating is Adam Malysz who set also a ski-flying Polish record with a jump of 230.5 metres and Thomas Morgenstern whose fifth place was enough to seal the overall World Cup title for the second time in his career.
