Being a sportsman is a serious business for Abdul Aziz Turki Al-Faisal, the first Saudi Arabian athlete to join the roster of Red Bull stars.
Abdul Aziz is already one of the hottest drivers from the Middle East having finished on the podium twice in the Dubai 24-Hour Race and is already a winner of the Porsche Middle East Cup.
But there’s a great deal more to him than just driving fast: he also considers himself to be a role model and a permanent roving ambassador for Saudi Arabia.
“If you are in the position to act as a role model, one should respect the importance and responsibility that this entails. For me that means living your life in a way that the people will look up to you and try to copy some of your traits without coming across as false or preaching.”
The prince is also a keen all-round sportsman who enjoys sailing, kite surfing, snowboarding and motorbikes – "Pretty much any activity that's healthy and exciting."
